DOROTHY MANNFOLK began her public relations career at a specialty firm in Los Angeles where she handled media relations, special events planning, and account management for many high-end fashion, beauty, and retail clients. It was here that she noticed a lack of effective public relations representation for emerging fashion and beauty brands, and so she established Mannfolk Public Relations. Her goal: To give a voice to every brand she represented.
Since striking out on her own, Dorothy has nurtured numerous fledgling labels into globally recognized brands like American Apparel and 3Lab cosmetics. She also spearheaded campaigns for internationally known companies like Sabo Skirt and Showpo as they launched into the U.S. market. Her clients have consistently appeared on Hollywood red carpets and the pages of Vogue, Huffington Post, Forbes, WWD, InStyle, Refinery 29, Robb Report, Jewelry Editor, Harper's Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and more.
JOSEPH PASTRANA has managed corporate and commercial accounts for international fashion brands, artists, designers, pharmaceutical companies, restaurants, galleries, and luxury couturiers. As a leading publication's former fashion director, he oversaw coverage of the New York, Paris, and Milan runway shows; conducted designer interviews; and penned collection features on the likes of Tom Ford, Badgley Mischka, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, Naeem Khan, and many others. He then joined Mannfolk Public Relations, to help establish the agency's East Coast office. During his tenure, Joseph has garnered fashion, design, and beauty editorial features in leading U.S. and international publications.
